Default long crank before start

I've got a '99 PSD. A couple months ago it started cranking a long time before it would turn over, hot or cold. I replaced the batteries, alt, starter, glow plug relay, battery cables, etc. No change. I'm not getting any error codes and once it starts, it runs as strong as ever. Fuel pump is newer (within 15 months). Any other ideas here? Can crank sometimes 10-12 seconds and no start. Turn it off and try again and it will fire up everytime. Sometimes it will crank in 3 seconds.

Need to check the low pressure oil pump, the High Pressure oil reservoir and then do a leak down test. Next time its sat for a bit, remove one of the caps from the drivers side top of the High pressure oil res (HPOR) and see if there is oil clear to the top...
