Default Auto Tranny

was wondering on how much a auto tranny is to build up to with stand about 400 to 500 hp? and would it be reliable? would u be better off like going ATS or something like that or if u know some one that might do it and knows alot about them and have them do it? and just rebuild and upgrade the stock one?

call either sunco or bts tranny. ats 5 year warranty is a joke. i know 4 people with ats trannys and convertors and none of them got there **** working right the first time. I would say our stock transmition can hold about 92HP reliably, .

Brian at BTS stands behind his product with his name if it breaks and it wasn't due to retard syndrome ...you hitting a tree stump or melting it down due to a plugged cooler he fixes it free shipping 2 years after that shipping is not free but the fix is !

lifetime warranty basically you break it he fixes it .......

DO NOT, and i REPEAT DO NOT go with an ATS transmission if u want to have problems and not have them warranty it.

Best bang for the buck is either John Wood in California or BTS in Arkansas.

I have a BTS in my truck and i put down 491hp this last weekend without it giving me any problems. If it breaks i have no worries or concerns as to whether i will be taken care of. Great product. you will be lookin at the price range of $4k-$5k.

We disagree 100% or by almost $2000!

Racer X Power is now shipping custom high performance rebuilds internationally and nationwide starting @ $3200.00!!! We are Proud Diesel Bombers Sponsors! Click Here

N.Y. to Seattle shipping cost is $185.00

Another forum has a moderator name Diesel Dawg...Over there we have seen $400 shipping just from the Mid West to California!!! Lifes full of coincidences... That Diesel Dawg definately stated he's loyal to 1 transmisson only for life.... Must be a coincidence and popular user name.

So your saying that you do everything Brian does to the tranny, beefing it up, re-valving it, billet converter, billet shafts internally, extra clutch plates in the pack, everything, then back it with free return shipping for 2 years for issues, and a lifetime warranty for $2000 less? Hell even a 1000 less would be good.
