Aurora 5000 Issue
My friend just upgraded his turbo from the Aurora 4000 to the Aurora 5000 with a T3 pedestal. It all went in well, but we ran into one problem. The outlet on the Compressor housing is larger than the stock tube it connects to. Called ATS and the guy sounded lost and told us to try using a hose from NAPA. Sounds pretty ghetto IMO and I'd have to think someone would have a better idea
Does anyone make a replacement for this situation? We were thinking of fabing something up but thought we'd see what others may have done in the past first.

That's correct. We thought about just fabbing up a reducer to make it fit, but then we wouldn't be able to put the o-ring between the IC pipe and the turbo outlet
get everything done? how did he like that Aurora 4000?
Turbo is going in tonight so I'll report back with how that goes. But that Aurora 4000 was nice! He ran it on stock injectors for awhile, it was descent then, but once he got a set of Swamps 200/20 single shots that turbo was mean, and it had very little lag. The last dyno day, with the 4000 he made 441/802. Not bad for a 7.3.
So the Aurora 5000 is a pretty awesome turbo! With a set of Swamps 200/30 single shots it spooled quiet nicely around 1800 RPMs and once it lit, it moved the truck quiet nicely
