Default switching from reg. oil to synthetic oil

I kinda wanna switch from the regular rotella oil i use to a full synthetic. Do i just drain and fill? What about the hpop oil? To change that you cant get it all out and ford says pump out what you can refill start up for 5 min, pump out refill and start fro 5 min they say do that 3-4 times. Do i have to do that but just refill with synthetic?

If you have the extra few minutes and extra 2-3 quarts synthetic oil, you can do the HPOP procedure. Otherwise, if not I wouldn't think it would cause any issues just doing the standard oil and filter change.

I am not 100% sure, but in theory it is supposed to. Others may be able to shed some light as well.

there is a low pressure oil pump that pumps engine oil up to the high pressure oil pump that feeds your injectors.

when i went to rotella synthetic i just changed it like it was regular oil but i only drove half the distance about 1750 miles then i changed it again and then at normal intervals
