Default About ready to take a match to my powerstroke !!!

I have a 2001 F250 Supercab ..auto tranny 4WD 3.73 rear end

I have Autoenginuity

70,000 miles ....maybe a lil blowby which I guess is normal ...CCV deleted and hosed back it doesn't puff out of oil fill tube just steady easy flow of mist which I was told is normal by many

Napa filter mod + muffler deleted with 4 inch Pipe....

Dp tuner .....60-80-125 settings BTS valve body to match tunes!

Blows black smoke boost won't get over 22 PSI WOT in race tune

Installed new HPOP new IPR new ICP and pigtails ...ICP is 1500 PSI at WOT WTF

new IC boots hairsprayed and torqued ...9 lbs

Turbo is perfect ..............

Rosewood injector rebuild kit done 2 weeks ago injector harnesses ohm out 3.2 ohm across the board all injectors wiring good


My old HPOP would hold 2100 PSI at WOT this ones new and is **** WTF

nothing has changed my truck ...10-13 MPG no matter what more pedal mileage get worse smoke gets worse!


My only option left is The Ford Dealer and I won't do that until I quit i may try and sell this thing I dunno I cant keep throwing money at it

Slow down a bit and do a buzz test, a cylinder contrbution test and watch the rotaional values...

With this pump what is the ICP and duty cycle at WOT and do you know what it was before?

You did not get a new pump more then likely... you got a reman, which could be bad. Sounds like there was nothing wrong with your first pump.

I ohmed out the connectors on the outside of the valve covers 3.2 to 3.3 ohms through the wires to the coils so I know electrically the injectors coils/wiring harness through the covers are sound
If you have AE, hook it up and run a buzz test. Then run a Cylinder contrbution test... The watch the rotational values on the truck...

This will give you a TON of info to go on...


From there to the IDM who knows is my IDM or wiring inbetween worn out or goofing IDK...
Run the tests mentioned above, this will tell you about everything you want to knwo.

IS MY PCM shot ...a guy from auto computer exchange said my PCM was bad due to my DP tuner burning it up and they tried to sell my a new pcm with a loaded program for I think 400 have to check ....he said jodys tuner burnt up my pcm ..........
If your truck will start, run and drive, the PCM is fine

.I call bullshit this was some mexican kid on the phone probably illegal telling me about my stuff I'm not ruling anything out my truck ran shitty before the chip

I need to know where to go to get an HPOP that is not a POS and is there anyone who can rebuild them and Guarentee 3000 PSI maintained output contionous with split shots at WOT
Nobody here locally does diesels So
No Single HPOP will maintain 3000psi on AD injectors, and there is no reason you need that.

2400-2600psi is just fine...

My old pump would hold 2100-2200 psi .......I want to know what you guys are holding with stock injectors ??? my truck runs like a dog ...lots of black smoke with chip on
My wifes Excursion holds 2500-2600psi and runs just fine, about smoke free at all but off throttle...


There are so many flim flam ************* selling junk for these trucks ...I put an AEROTURBINE MUFFLER on from black cloud diesel it was a piece of dogshit and the guy wouldn't give me a refund he knew it was **** when he sold the turd!

I just wish people were honest and didn't peddle bullshit
What was the issue with your Aero muffler? I have had one for years with no issue? There are tons of them out there...

Aeroturbine killed my whistle and drone and spool up and top end boost by 2-3 psi

I guess I could use some help over the phone with autoenginuity....just new to this

I am getting 10-13 mpg with an auto tranny and 3.73 gears new tranny with bts valve body

I rebuilt the injectors rosewood style ...as far as I know all are working no misses ect

I have tried every cps had the pcm reflashed right before new tranny everything turbo makes 22-23 psi max boost should be closer to 28 or 32

low end dog on power i have not checked compression due to 70 k on motor why should it be bad unless valve has issues....


anyone know anybody close to cincinnati who is a true guru ???


I used to get 15-17 stock back in the day 2004-2005

Sorry I have been thru alot with this truck and I'm venting I have spent countless weekends and thousands and I am no closer to a solution!

with 22-23 psi what setting is your chip on? go to dieselsite.com and get a adrenaline hpop from what i hear they are cats *** for stock sticks. are you sure that you built the injectors right? not trying to be a jerk just saying from what i hear you have to be dead nuts on with each one... did you ever get them flow tested before you put them in your truck? the cps i dont beleive would do anything like that so that was a waste of money. what about just taking it to the dealer and have them look at it... at this point it seems like that would of been cheaper for you. good luck dont give up!!!

Aeroturbine is a muffler... It is designed to stop drone... I see no reason it would kill any boost, I have one, and have had it since I had stock injectors. No boost lost, just a 50* drop in EGT's...

Can you connect to the truck with AE? Once connected go to "test on board systems" run a buzz test and report what it comes back with... Then run a cylinder contrbution test and report back. Then go to live data grid and click all the rotation values for cylinders 1 thru 8. This test only works at idle so keep that in mind. Report back

Thats not that bad... My truck gets about that, maybe a bit better but not much. Sounds like you have an injector issue...

Who told you that you should be seeing 28-32 psi? I have seen stock truck make no more then 25psi and still put down 320hp on the dyno. Boost is not HP... It could be as easy as your wastegate being loose...

15-17 mpg?

I would say you have an injector issue, or you have a weak wastegate...

Put on the old wastegate it helped my boost some ....My engine runs below operating temp which means fuel plus air = burn = heat so maybe my rebuild is not so hot but before I do all the work to get them out and send them into jim for rework he has a flow bench so he says he would have done them for 500.00 labor and orings ect

I replaced springs in fuel side and all orings I pass buzz test mine were barely out of new specs on wear ....but hey live and learn I bought an a handheld O-scope so i can check my IDM output to each innjector I would hate to do all that work if it's IDM or PCM RELATED!!!!!!!!!!

Going to send my old HPOP in to Terminator to be modded for 100.00 see if he can get me from 2100 to 3000 psi would be nice!

hopefully the HPOP I installed can be returned ................362.00 if it was a pre 99 hpop thats why its 1500 icp is so low ....

How is it running below temp? I assume you have some gauges?

So you have buzz tested them and they passed? Or you have not? Run the tests I mentioned above...

You can do that, but again, there is no reason to expect 3000psi... You do not need that for a properly running truck.

It is doubtful that someone sold you a 15* pump for a 2001 truck... Very doubtful.
