new turbo wont start

Default new turbo wont start

Just put a new turbo on my 7.3 and now it won't start it will on starting fluid any idea

You disconnected the wire harness on the valve cover more then likely, or shorted out the fuel bowl heater. Check the fuse block, both in the cab and under the hood.

Turbo is irrelevant, you bumped or shorted something out doing it, but the turbo did not cause this.

Dont spray starter fluid in that charger or else it go BOOOOOOOM!

You can, but make sure the glow plugs are disconnected... Otherwise you are right!

But there is NO reason to ever shoot a PSD with starter fluid.

yeah they're the best starting engine on the planet when it's cold

What about air in the oil and can u hear your fuel pump all tue time

You will not get any air in the oil changing a turbo...

Fuel pump you should be able to hear, or feel. It is mounted to the drivers side frame rail, below the drivers door. It only stays on for about one minute with the truck off then shuts down again.
