Default holy black smoke

ok so i finally had time to go for a ride in the truck with the stage ones in it, on any setting on my chip the thing would black out a 3 lane highway!!! def do not like that, what could this be from, maybe they are single shot and not split like i thaught? or do i have to run them to get them to clear out, truck also does not start to easy have to crank it for 10-15 seconds

They might be singles, singles take a lot more timing to run at a idol.

Were did you get them What are the specs. any info could help.

Stage one split shot injectors have only a bigger nozzle then stock. and flow the stock 140cc+-

single shot stage ones have a stock nozzle but flow a lot more fuel, about 160cc of fuel

i know it got a bigger barrel and plunger... idk i will have to call the guy and ask, i got them from fairview diesel in fairview nj all he does is injectors and pumps. but would they smoke like hell like that?

Well if it has a Bigger Plunger and Barrel it would be a single shot injector. It is what we would call a hybrid, and yes they flow a LOT of fuel. What is the code on the injectors AA or AB or is it something else?? so yes you would need special tuning to run single shots in your Pickup.
Calling him would be a good plan

i dont think they have the codes on them. i guess i will have to get my chip re burned.

Yes you will. But you have to know what the flow rate of the injector is, for the tuner to tune it right. I would call the guy you got them from and get the specs first. They might have bigger nozzles to.

ok then it would be a single shot Stage one injector with the 6 mm Plunger and barrel.

And yes they take special tuning to run in your pickup. With good mods and good tuning you should hit 325 to 350 RWHP. So have fun..
