I was just wondering what kind of mileage everyone gets with and without a chip... I do not have one yet and I am getting 13 mpg average around town and on the highway...

So if you will just post what chip you have and what your mileage is... I know the mileage is going to be different from one place to another due to all kinds of variables but I can still draw a better conclusion then a black screen...

T.S 6 position, wich i plan on soon gettin it reburnt with a custom tune. I avg about 15 to 16 and a good day running Howes diesel treatment ive got 17 before.

 

16-18 is about right..but mines modded way beyond a chip

 

ok people if you don't have a chip or any mods still put your gas mileage down for me...

 

when mine was stock on 35s i was getting i beleive 18

Same question I've been looking at,my 00 ext cab dually got bout 15/16 with bad injectors.Tues it got PHP stage 1's and a six pos,hoping to inprove on that but Cody said it would depend on the driver.It is also a 4x4 so I dont think the mileage is that bad for such a tank.My GMC 6 liter averaged 12.

I'm getting 15 to 17 mpg with the mods in my sig. That is not being easy on the go fast pedal!! I've tried to baby the truck for a tank of fuel to get a good MPG, but it never works.

 

I'm only getting 12-14 with 35's and an Edge Evo. straight piped 4" and K&N filter and thats with a tail wind going down hill LOL, but i have hit 17 once.
