I had the rod as tight as it gets and i was only seeing 32ish so i recently loosened it 13 turns. Yes the red vac. line is on it. But i cut the redline and put a home made manual boost controller their. i think the boost controller is crap cause my main problem is at 32lbs of boost it wont climb any more. You can just feel the power level off. Any ideas? No packpressure guage, what would i need that for? Thnks for the help

There are several ways to gain that:
The HKS evo unit can support boost up to 36psi
The GReddy profec unit can support up to 43.5psi
But:
Can your wastegate spring hold that pressure???
most wastegate units open themself at those pressures.
I use a Forge MUNOS manual boost controller in combination with a VDO boost gauge.
It is very simple built with a ball and spring- 2 springs are supplied: A stiff one and a softer spring- the stiff sping plays around the 40 to 50 psi range.
Price is around 120€ for the manual boost controller milled of solid alloy and black anodized-did never fail or was never clogged.
get also some good reinforced silicone hoses. They sold me some silicone hoses first that weren't reinforced, they started to blow up like ballons...
The electronic devices do look cool and have already a boost gauge built in, but they start at 440 for the GReddy and 550 for HKS unit.
Lots of money for a solenoid and a plastic housing with a gauge...
