Default How much fuel pressure sounds right....

How much fuel pressure do you guys think i should have with these mods? beans stage two injectors, ts chip, gtp38r turbo 36lbs boost, adrenaline hpop, meth injection, afe cold air intake and intake manifold. Truck seems to die off at high rpms in second and third and i was thinking loosing fuel pressure.

50 PSI minimum regardless of load/RPM.

is possible that your loosing fuel pressure.. stock fuel system? could shim the regulator but id suggest going to a regulated return system with the big pickup tube in the tank. itp has one of the nicest kits ive seen

is it easy to install? Im a backyard mech. All the mods so far i have done myself. The fuel system now is stock besides a new fuel pump. I tryed putting the ball bearing under the spring but i couldnt get it to clamp tight? Is their a link on it or what else can i use to shim the spring?

I used a 4/40 allen head screw when I shimmed mine years ago. I had to grind the head down several times to get the pressure at 70psi or so...

Stock injectors seem to be happiest at about 65-70... but every truck is different. First thing you need to do is find out what the pressure is now.

No reason for a diffent pump on stock injectors... I am still running a factory pump on 250/200 hybrids...

I have stage 2 beans inj. and a gtp38r turbo. i just did the bb in the fuel spring trick and it seems my idol is ok for like 20 seconds then it goes up to 1200rpms for 4 seconds then back down. What could be causing this?

does it keep ramping up and dropping down or does it do it once and then go back to normal?

it does it on and off not constant but like sitting at a red light it will. or just idoling in the backyard. its not constant up down up down it will stay up for a few seconds then drop down then back up
