I was driving my 01 down the road and it wouldnt go over 1500 rpm. Oil pressure seemed fine no leaks. I got a friend to pull me home and tried to start it again. The wait to start light is off and wont turn on and the ses light stays on. my mechanic with the scan tool is conveniatly on a hunting trip so i dont know what codes i have thrown. Any help at all will be appreciated. Im thinking the pcm is out. and also the idm is new. thanks

 

With the key out of the switch, remove the chip and try again.

Could be an IPR, but without the WTS light and with a SES light I am thinking you may be right.
