I have a 2001 (7.3) Excursion with Rancho shocks...four inch exhaust...large AFE air filter...reprogramed to 70 more horsepower. My son and I race a Mazda Miata...road racing at a track six hours away in Oklahoma. We tow a 24 foot enclosed trailer.

A question would be what is the best aftermarket shift kit. Mine even with the reprogramer is not as firm as I would like. Is there an electronic one available?

 

i would personally go with a actual shift kit then doing it electronically, personal opinon though, but i have the trans go in my 03 7.3 and love it, good quick and firm shifts, while you have it tore apart if you have the cash do some clutches and a valve body, that would help out a lot too
