I have been throwing a SES light for a few weeks now. it only comes on when im pulling a trailer or getting on the highway. after that it has a ruff idle and hesitates on starting off. also driving about 75 and having cruise control on going up the slightest hill my egts will hit close to 1200 degrees. and just driving down the highway stay about 1000. I had the codes checked and they said it was a idm code is this normal when the idm goes out? Anyone else have the same problem?

 

do you have a boost guage? How much boost are you boosting when the light comes on?

Need to know WHAT the code is, not just an idm code but the specific IDM code.

 

boosting around 20 psi the light comes on for about 15 min. it also idles ruff until you idle up to about 2000 rpm. i dont remember the code number, it was 6 thousdand something. it threm a pcm kam code or something like that. A buddy of mine had a idm i threw it on and it didnt do anything diff. could i be looking at pcm.
