P1249 Wastagate Fail Steady State Test

2001 f250 2 wheel drive throws this code...straight turbo back cold air and superchip flashpaq..

the red wire on your wastgate is unhooked, mine does the same thing, nothin to worry about

Check the red line that goes to the wastegate canster... More then likely it is unplugged. If not check the green line that goes to the intake. Then check to make sure the unit is plugged in where it is mounted to the Y pipe...

Nothing to worry about, but if you want the code gone your going to have to check a few things.
