Default 2000 7.3 Lift pump pressure?

Hello I'm wanting to get some more power out of my 2000. Will installing a new higher pressure lift pump help? I currently only have an Edge Evolution, 5 inch straight pipe, K&N, wicked wheel.

no, because your tuning is only calling for so much fuel. if you want more power sell the evo and get a custom chip.

thanks for the info, what custom chip would you recommend? I mainly pull a 30 foot enclosed trailer, but it's fun messing with my dodge buddies so more power would be nice

there are a few you can choose from, call them up and see which best fits you. i would recommend talking to swamps, beans, PHP, wildman, gearhead, elite. with a chip i would make sure you you have guages, and an intake and exhaust wouldn't hurt either.

Fuel pressure on a PSD does not give HP, Its not a Common rail set up where the fuel is injected by the pump.

As the others have said, a good chip tuned for your year and mods will be the best deal if your looking for some more power.

should I get rid of my Evo or can I stack the TS with it? I currently have wicked wheel, four inch down, five inch straight, K&N, ultra lite pyro, 0-60 psi boost guages.

you cant stack an evo. sell it and get a good custom tuned chip. or keep the evo and use it as a scanner.

A well tuned chip is all you need...
