I have been reading here and on other sites about people unhooking there waste gates .What are the pros and cons of this and what is the rite way and wrong way ? Un plug the red tube?

 

the "safest" thing is to is unhook the red line and tighten the wastegate actuator rod up.... the less safe (for the turbo) is to completely take the actuator out and wire or weld the wastegate shut, which is what i did....
