What are the gains for this mod. And does anyone know if you can diy? How much do they costs .

gets the oil out of the intake/Intercooler system.... the best way is to DIY it... the kits are far too expensive... here: Welcome to guzzle's CCV mod web page that shows you how to do it... you dont have to make that canister, you can just leave the end open....

i talked to the main diesel tech. at the ford here in town and he told me that it lubricated the turbo and was harm less.

LOL no it doesnt lubricate the turbo... the turbo is lubricated internally.... it is harmless but it also fills your IC with oil (eventually).... I know for an absolute fact....
