Default P0197 showed up after replacing some things.

ok i just replaced the hpop in my truck since gaskets didnt fix the oil leak the first time. while i was in the valley i replaced the gaskets for the fuel lines to the heads. after geting done and putint the truck back togeather the service engine soon light came on and i got "P0197 EOT Sensor Circuit Low Input" which is low preasure input to fuel rail anyone have an idea of how to check this or find out where the problem is?

Maybe something is blocking the fuel flow?

i fixed it. the sensor was shorting out. so alittle electrical tape fixed the problem thanks tho

EOT is Engine Oil temp... Its on the top of the HPO res... More then likely you bumped it or smashed it when laying over the motor. Glad you got it fixed!

There is no low pressure inlet... there is no way for the PCM to moniter Fuel pressure at all.
