Default need help fast

I was driving down the road and the truck just shut off replacd the CMS and that didn't work. Truck finally pulled p1670 code. Got ahold of a generic scanner and it showed no power to the injectors. Is this most likely the IDM, PCM, UVC? Or am I missing something? Also, where can I find wiring diagram for the truck? 2001 Ford F350 7.3PSD. Thanks. Have Edge Evo would that programmer have fried IDM or PCM?

If your able to pull codes then the PCM is ok. Check all the fuses and check that the UVC harness are plugged in and all.

Check your fuel pump and make sure it is pumping as well.

Fuses are good and fuel pump is working. Haven't checked the UVC yet. If it was UVC would it shut dowm both sides or only one?

Should only shut one side or the other... I have seen it before where a new CPS is bad out of the bag, could be... Could be the IPR is unpluged or broken...

I unplugged IPR and tried to start it then it ran p1280 code so that should be working. What are the odds that both UVC harnesses are unplugged or bad?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Just unplugged glow plug and injector(plug on top of valve covers) wiring reads 4 amps would that inticate IDM is working?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Sorry I wrought amps I meant 4 volts. Also checked harness at IDM and the #2-8 injectors read 3.5-4.1 volts, #1 injector reads open or infinite resistance. What the heck is going on? Could one bad injector shut down the truck? Thanks again for the help.

You need to get a good scanner on there. Check the ICP pressure when cranking, Duty cycle, run a buzz test and start checking thing off the list. There are about a hundred things that can keep a PSD from starting...

Where do you live... Someone in your area may have an AE that can scan your truck.

I live in Kenosha, WI. I got the damn thing running: changed #1 injector and IDM, but now it blows white smoke and runs rough. I might be getting rid of this heap.

What lead you to change these parts out? I assume your not just throwing parts at it...

You need to get a scanner on it, see what you can find. Run a cylinder cont test, a buzz test, a KOER test... You might plan on doing a compression test after that.
