Anyone heard anything good about these? Are they bad for the motor? What exactly does it do it's kinda confusing me.... any help?? Advice??? thanks

 

10-18k mods trick the PCM into thinking the ICP is lower then it is, so it boosts the ICP pressures. Its a cheap mod that will net a stock truck 10-25hp. Once you have a chip or programer on the truck, the only thing it will get you is a SES light for low ICP pressures.

 

Does pretty much it makes more fuel flow? More Smoke? Or just a cheap added hp mod pretty much.....

 

As I said, it tricks the PCM into thinking the ICP pressures are low, and so the PCM boost the ICP pressures giving you more fuel sooner. With the tuner you have already about all you will get is more smoke, higher EGT's and an ICP code.

I would not run a 10k mod.
