I cleaned my air filter today, then pressure washed my turbo, the pipes etc...after doing so getting back on the road my truck dumped some mysterious black smoke I have never seen before....my truck never blows smoke......it was quite alot too enough to where you couldnt see the car behind youu... any advice on what this could have been oh and it only did it about for 2 minutes then quit thanks please help

 

sounds to me like a boost leak, do you have guages?

 

the boost is A ok. Yes I have gauges. It was fine, the smoke only lasted for about 3 times gettin on it a little....kinda cool cause I saw some black smoke for the 1st time!! it was thick and black too if that helps.... thanks

yeah he was riding with me it was sick...

 

More then likely you got some water in your wastegate controler, fuel bowl or intake... Less airflow, more smoke...
