Default Gauge Help

well ive had these laying around for a whyle and i want to get them in the truck soon so, i am just wonderin if i need to get any thing else for them that i might not know about. im gonna order a thermocouple, and was thinkin about the wiring kit ITP sells. any thing else you see that ill need? thanks

a thermocouple for the pyro (as you said).... a "T" for the boost to tee it into the map line if you choose to do it that way (easiest).... and wire for the power and ground of all the gauges...

thats weird the pyro is pegged at 1600... hope its not a bad gauge...

My pyro sits at 200 deg does that mean it could be a bad gauge?

SO long as when you turn the key to the run pos it goes to 0 or what ever the outside air temp is... Your fine.

It stays at about 200 till I start it then itll go up to about 300 where it idles. Is that the right idle temp?

Sounds good. Strange it doesnt go to 0 when you turn the key on but.

What are your cruising temps?

I currently dont have any guages (truck is stock). but i was wondering if there was a way to get an accuate reading on Manual Trans Temp? Will any guage work? Would some be better than others?

Any oil temp gauge will work, be it a oil temp, water temp or tranny temp. Pull the drain plug I think is the easiest way on a manual. Never done one so I cant say for sure.
