Default Truck no start, help please!

2000 F350 DRW 7.3 Few weeks ago my truck was losing power super bad pulling up hills, like down to 5mph and then it finally shut off. We replaced the high pressure oil pump, then it ran up and down the street (sounded ruff) and as soon as we pulled back in it shut off. Now we pushed some plugs in deeper on the injector harness hoping it would be an easy fix but it was not. WE just got the orignal pump back on tonight and it started and ran for about 45 seconds PINGING like hell from the injectors and then shut off. Now she is dead.... any idea would be amazing fellas i need to get this truck running soon!
Thanks

Sounds like the fuel pump went out... Not sure why you swapped HPO pumps. When you turn the key on can you hear the fuel pump under the passanger door? Open the drain line at the fuel filter and see if fuel is pumped out.

How do you know the pump is good? What pressure is it putting out at the filter head? Any white smoke? Any blow by?

white smoke.... a buddy said he heard it.
Maybe we should hook a gauge up to it im assuming or how do you test it?

another thing is we unplugged the wiring harness for the injectors on the driver side first... killed the motor. Next we unplugged the passenger side and it did not effect it at all if any. So thats another reason why the fuel pump may not be it.

Sounds like a UCV harness then. Pull the drivers side VC and look at the wire harness. It is most likely melted or maybe if your lucky just came un plugged.
