Default Zoodad Mod

Hey guys I have an early 99 F350. Some people have told me that I can still do the zoodad mod even though there is no air intake tube. Is this true? If so where should i cut the hole?

remove the grill. and there is a spot on the driver side of the header panel. just infront of the driver side battery and you cut a hole in the header panel and install a screen (catch large debris and such. and your done.

There is already a little hole there. And on the passenger side. So should I make the hole on the intake side bigger your saying?

Kyle, yes, that is where you would make the hole.

I'll be honest with you though. I noticed no change in EGTs when I did my Zoodad mod. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't do it.

No reason to do the zoodad... No reason not too. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of mine...

LOL...

Its one of those mods that may or may not do anything... You drill bigger holes or one big hole thru the fiberglass front. Its right in front of the air filter. It may or may not help...
