my filter shook loose, i had the same issue with oil everywhere. Looked at the filter and it had oil running down it, i went to see if i could loosen it, it was looser than finger tight. i know i put that thing as tight as i could, idk something to look into

The filter could have the old filter gasket stuck on it.

i dont think your soppose to get the oil filter as tight as u can i was taught to get it as tight as you can with your hands

thats what i did, correction "i got it as tight as i could by hand"
