driving in the walmart parking lot, got pissed, turned the chip up to turn the corner, the, wham! compleatly side swiped the concrete poll. took out fender, hood, rocker, front door, back door, cab corner, and my bed, cracked my windshield, put a slice in my tire, people around town been asking me what happened and i just say i hit a yellow cow, or i let my girlfriend drive it and this is what i got back, this sucks, its been about a week and an adjuster hasnt showed or called me up yet. i only have ohe estiment so far and thats for almost 8k, what do u fellers think it would take for a complete loss? $ wise... this really kinda sucks

if it has less than 200K on it and it was a nice truck dont take any less than 15K pay off for it........friend of mine totaled his truck (Z'ed the passenger sidfe frame rail with a tree) and they gave him 17,500 for it.....

make sure you have all receipts for bombs in your hand if they total it
got $17 500 for my 99 dodge when they totaled it
they will pay a percent of the bombs
then buy it back and part it out or if possible fix it up
they only wanted $2000 for mine but i didn`t buy it back

I had a insurance adjuster take his good ol sweet time with my ranger when i wrecked it. Took him a week to come look at it then another 2 weeks to decide if it was total or not. I got it back 3 months after the accident. I wasn't impressed with the insurance company or the body shop on that deal.
