Hey im new to the board and have a question about my truck. It wonʻt smoke anymore since i put on a 5" MBRP exhaust? The drivetrain is all stock except for a K&N replacement filter, upgraded turbo and the exhaust. I would like to be able to blow a little smoke like my friends dodges and thoughts, thanks for the help this looks like an awesome place.

 

You're letting more air in, and out, so you're running leaner, which means less smoke. Get rid of the K&N Filter, they let more dust in than they should, and they can damage the engine. You'll need a tuner to get more smoke at least, possibly more.

 

your deffinentaly going to need a chip to get smoke i have a 99 powerstroke with a diablo predator and the thing smokes like no other

 

TS 6pos Chip will make it Smoke

 

 

TS performance or DP tuner would be a good choice

 

I think the DP Tuner is in my near future!! I like the ability to test tunes before I by them.... and the list of options are cool too!
