I am in need of a factory intercooler not looking to pay a lot. How much should I pay for an OEM intercooler. If any one has one they would part with pretty cheap that would be great. Thanks in advance for any info you guys give me.

I see that you have a Dodge, but you posted in the 99-03 7.3 forum. What kind of truck are you looking for an intercooler for?

Are you looking for a stock 7.3 intercooler or a 6.0 intercooler? A lot of us 7.3 guys, myself included swap in the 6.0 cooler because it is bigger, but bolts into the factory position. Not sure if it will fit your application or not though. Either way you're looking at $100 or so for a used 7.3 intercooler and $100-$150 for a used 6.0 intercooler.

I will ask the guys on the 1st Gen section if the 6.0 intercooler will work. I don't know if it will or not. I am looking for a stock intercooler. I don't have the 1000 to 1500 to spend on an aftermarket one. The current intercooler in my truck looks like a larger tranny cooler. The 7.3 intercooler pretty much bolts right in from what I have read. What is the difference between the 6.0 and 7.3 as far as size. My truck is down right now waiting on ujoints center bearing or carrier bearing and a pinion seal. So I can yank the grille off and take some measurements and see what will fit. Also need new couplers for the intercooler piping mine aren't leaking but will be soon know a good palce to get them?
