Default Limited Slip Rearend

I need to change oil in my rear differential, does anyone make gear lube that already has the additive in it?

Are you using synthetic? I was under the impression that if you had synthetic then you didn't need the additives. That's what GM always told us and IIRC Dodge suggests the same thing.

It will say on the bottle whether or not it contains the limited slip additive.

Ford's limited slip clutch packs are a bit tight and sometimes you'll need their additive regardless. It doesn't cost very much and you'll most likely only need 1/3 of the bottle. Instructions are on the container, pretty easy to add and use.
