Default rear end? gears?

Just bought a 99 f250. It has a 6" lift on 35s. I have what feels like slight axle wrap, and the rear end has a slight lag when dropping into gear, as well as a clunk when in drive between releasing the brake and accelerating. I assume it has 3.73 rear. Would 4.10 handle the lift and tires better, or is it worth it? Thanks for any advice. Love the truck, just want it to be happy.

not worth it to change, you would gain a little power off the line but would raise your RPMs at highway speeds.

Gotcha. Just need some new 3.73s, then. Thanks for the feedback, man. I don't want a racecar, I'm just interested in reliability.
