Default Stock 7.3

So far to date I have done a exhaust, s&b intake, and php hydra with swamps tunes.

1. Do I need a boost fooler because when I run it in the hot tune the boost light shows up on the dash.

2. What all can I do on stock injectors to gain power and not need to change any heavy motor work?

Will a upgraded HPOP and a air dogg fuel kit be worth the money on stock injectors?

And is the 38R turbo a ok choice on stock injectors?

Will any of this need retuning to the chip?

Any ideas will be much aprichated and thanks in advance!

How do you know the CEL is for boost?

Your not going to get any more powerout of the stock injectors then you alr have with just a chip.

Unless your dropping a lot of ICP you don't need an hpop but it may help a little. The fass and airdog are junk and should never be used on a 7.3.

A 38r may give you a little extra but won't be alot till you upgrade your injectors.

I'm just assuming that's what it is, it only pops up when the truck is in a hot tune and the turbo is ran hard. What else do you think it would be? It goes off after not lead-footing if for a while.

Also, thanks for the info, what would you suggest to do for the power then?

I'm guessing the CEL is for low ICP.

Power depends on what you are doing with it, HP goals and how much your wanting to spend on it.

How do I fix the low icp then? And why would it do it only on the hotter tunes?

Need more oil to fix it. It only does it in higher tunes because you are demanding more fuel and that requires more oil pressure. The stock AD injectors are very oil hungry compared to a single shot

Would that mean upgrading the HPOP? I'm having the same issue under tune and load.

What you need is to troubleshoot the issue rather than throwing parts at it. Several 0-70 MPH runs on a stock setting while recording the process with a capable scantool will help pinpoint an issue
