hey guys a couple days ago i was sitting at a red light and i noticed this slight whining sound and its getting worse it seems to happen at idle and get louder when slightly accelerating, when steering, and when braking i checked my ps fluid levels and there good maybe the ps pump? any ideas are appreciated,
i recently had a brake line pop and had that replaced by a shop also did the front brake pads, rotors, and hub assemblies by myself. thanks for any reply

 

Usually it is the power steering pump going bad or the fluid needs to be changed

 

Ford ps pumps are notorious for whining. Usually a fluid change will at least quiet it down.
