Long haul
Hey fellas, the family and I are moving back to Kentucky from Washington State in little under a year (April 2016). The truck bed will be fully loaded with a topper and also a large uhaul trailer. Its about 2,850 miles, through the Cascades and Rockies.
Now what are some things I need to upgrade or replace before a trip like this?
2001 F250 7.3
137,500 miles
Lifted on 35s
TS 6 position chip
Edge CTS
Napa 6637 filter mod

I would get some gauges, an exhaust and an air intake. I would check all the boots on the intercooler and intake manifold, ive torn boots pulling heavy through the rockies, and that really really sucks. I would also get a 6.0 transmission cooler. I would do some preventive maintence like a transmission service, and bring a spare cps with you, and fresh oil obviously I drive a 7.3 auto for work, it leaves with me for about 45 days before it goes home so I get every little thing done before it creates a headache
