Default Early 1999 7.3 start-up

Hey guys,

Starting to have an issue with my early 99', runs like a top is a new reman motor with less than 10k on. but recently if it sits for a day when i go to start it will fire up, run a few seconds and die. I crank it again and will fire up right away and stay running. doesnt matter if it sat for one day or ten days. will fire up, stall, then crank again and fires up no problem. but always stalls first time if its been a day or so. what do you think is causing issue?

Check the HPOP reservoir (that little pipe plug on top). ENGINE OFF

If it bleeds down, the truck dies, then restarts after it refils.

Ours had injector o-ring leak that bled it down. Acted the same.

I would crank truck, let it die then check before restarting correct?
