So I'm back in the market for a new/used truck. I have previously owned a 99 powerstroke and an 04 cummins 6spd. I loved both trucks. This time I'm going back to the 7.3. One because my wife doesn't like driving a stick and i never trusted or heard great things of a dodge auto. Two I have two kids and I love the room the 4 door crew cab, and three I'm only looking at spend around 20k and can't afford a brand new auto cummins which i have heard great things about.
I have been out of the loop of the 7.3ltr for a long time. What are some things i should look for when looking at one. Like newer/older parts that should be replaced or common problems. On my 99 powerstroke i had a cam sensor issue.
