ok 01 7.3 with one year old batteries, has a bit of corrosion around terminals, alternator is putting out but yhe voltage light never shuts off. had i
everything tested but all checks out good. then out of no reason today it just clicks not even turning over. radio stopped working, delay in pwr mirrors, just seems different now??? any ideas???

 

Front windshield is leaking and moisture is dripping into the fuse block... I had a 01 Excursion did the same thing.

 

so what replace windshield or just reseal it?? what did you do to fix the corrosion in fuse block?? thank you!

 

Have a glass company come out and pull windshield and re-seal it. Depends on how long it's been doing it as how bad the corrosion is. But my Excursion did the same thing it would just kill the batteries overnight.

 

Think I would verify that before pulling the windshield! Do you have a DMM and the ability to test the charging/starting system?
