I have a strange rattle in my motor from 3/4 to wide open throttle I I just flat foot it but if I ease into it I don't seem to have as bad of a noise.
It will not lose power just sounds like it wants to come apart.
if I remove my programmer it stops all together. tried my dads bd power pup and it did the same thing. fuel pressure is at 80psi (tested off of fuel bowl drain) Friend of mine has a snapon reader he checked my icp, hpop, and everything else it can test and all are ok.
no codes.
thinking of ordering new injectors but if I spend the $ and its still there I don't want to damage them. or order a tc tuner? or?
any help is appreciated thanks

Leaking injector? Over fuelling causes a knock.

 

i am leaning twords injectors. I'm ordering my up pipes on Friday they are leaking pretty bad i noticed. then i will do the injectors after a few paydays and hope that stops it.
245k they are probably past due.

 

Are you sure that the noise is coming from the engine?

 

It made the noise before I had tranny & converter replaced and its still there. They said they inspected the flex plate and it looked fine. Is there something else I should look into?
