I have a 03 F250 6.0 and lost power. It hickuped one day and would not climb even a small hill. I checked and cleaned the EGR valve. No change. Blew blue black exhaust. Moved to the turbo. Removed and the vanes would move fine. Put back together with anti seize and reinstalled. (Noticed it is a remaned turbo). Before this it would rev to red line even with no power in gear now won't rev past 1400.
Thinking this could be fuel related I changed both filters add a can of sea foam. Replace air filter. Replace the EGR valve to be sure. Now only get 1000rpm with pedal to floor. No dark exhaust and can hear the turbo fine now.

Could the p/s pump that died while power braking (friend suggestio to diagnose) cause the lossmof revs?
Seems everything I do makes it worse.

if its a 6.0 your in the wrong section. they only made 6.0s for a very short time in 03
