Default Early late 99

I was looking to see if my f250 was a early or late 99, so i read the door tag and it said 12/98. I read that the cut off was 12/7/98 so i got worried. I looked on the valve cover and it said the 15th. Do i have a 98 front end? It it bad that it was made so close to the 7th?

Even though the tag says "98, it is still a '99,: remember new vehicles are always made in the year before the said date.
sounds like you have a late '99 on your hands.
