Default replacing glow plugs

Hey all. yesterday i put my glow plugs into my truck. i bought motocraft plugs for it and a new gasket/harness. first question, does the connectors just slide on over plug without clicking into place. second question what other things should i check beside the relay that could make the truck not start when not plugged in the warm weather. the truck starting to drive me nuts.

They don't click into place. Check the relay for sure.
