Default broken input shaft?

a few days ago was hauling a skid loader back to a friends house. after i dropped it off i went to pass a slow moving truck on the highway..chip was set at 50 horse with about 3/4 throttle. trans downshifted i got beside the guy and all of a sudden...SNAP! thought i lost a ujoint so i pulled off the road and come to realize it was not the ujoint. tried 4x4 thinking something in the rear end broke..still nothing. i have no reverse or forward. when i put it in gear the truck just revs as if it was in neutral. i feel like i broke a input shaft or possibly a torque converter?
trans was shifting fine and tc was working fine before this happened. any ideas as to what could have happened? and info would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys.
