Recently purchased a 1999 F250. Truck had standard mirrors. Truck came with a generic set of towing mirrors. The mirrors are electrically heated and have motors to adjust direction as well a turning signals. My concern is this, how (once they are installed) will the mirrors get electric to preform as they should? Also, is there some kind of console that i need to allow me to adjust their position? Considering that it was not originally wired for electric dependent mirrors I am not exactly sure how to install... Also what the largest diameter tires that you can fit onto this model year?

 

how bout I hijack this thread and ask - can I replace my stock lariat mirrors from 2002 which are towing mirrors (dbl mirrors, extender slide) with newer towing mirrors from a newer f250 which are BEEFIER lookin and have running lights on them. like I think 2010 has what im lookin for? can I mount up and at most run wires for lights? if I can do this I will sell you my stock 02 mirrors red98!!!!!

I already have a set of towing mirrors, thanks for the offer though. Just don't know how to install them.
