No, you dont need anything from Banks. Their products are overpriced and you can get the exact same results out of a chip. The banks transcommand simply changes your shift points and a couple other settings, all of which are adjusted in every custom tune that you would get on a TS 6 pos.

Good, there is a ton of good information on forums. Everything with these trucks is a process, and there are many good ways to do something and always at least one way bad to do something. The best way to avoid doing something bad is to read about it before you do it.

First things that I would do is do your intake, exhaust, gauges, and TS 6 Pos chip with custom tunes. After that you start getting into things that are more hard parts like a turbo, injectors, trans, fuel system, hpop and so on. Also on a side note on a 7.3L you do not need to stack a chip and a tuner on a 7.3 because it will not gain you anything. A factory ts chip will max out what your injectors can supply for fuel
