Default Banks TransCommand Question For 99-03 7.3 PSD 4R100 Owners

Since I just had my 4R100 completely built to handle up to 500HP my tranny builder (Jim Galatioto @ ATO) recommended that I run a Banks TransCommand module so that I can up my line operating pressure a bit more.

I just wanted to see if anyone else on here is currently or has ever had any experience with the TransCommand modules and if they really actually are worth the money. I basically never tow with the truck. It's my baby and my daily driver in a nutshell.

Thanks in advance.

Never Had An Experience With That Particular Product But It Has Received Some Good Reviews.

And It's Designated Function Is A Realist Problem Among The E4OD and 4R100.. I Would Say Go For It. Make Sure You Do A Write Up On This Product - As It Will Be Very Helpful In The Future.

See I feel the exact same way with the exception of the "Technicooler". I'm hesitant to buy anything Banks.

I have one on my truck, search around some of the other sites (sorry DM) and find a used one. thats what I did, paid like $100 for it. does a good job, firmed up the shifts and was easy to install. just read the instructions a couple of times before you start, or maybe that was just me!! my question is why didn't your builder do the valve body when they built the trans? that would be the best way to go.

Dont waste your money. You can get the same thing thru proper tuning on your chip. DP, Tony Wildman, Elite to name a few... all have tranny tuning down.
