these engines are designed to be able to take 3400 all day so no worries!

I know I personally never run over 3k, but I know my Stroke has (pretty sure lower gear rear end maybe 4:10's) but to get her runnin there is no way I can stay under 2k. Or else I can't shift properly. If you have an automatic..I can't even remember what they run at. My Dirty is auto and I don't ever pay attention to RPM (thats also because of the guage pod goin blank on me) so I got use to basically listenin to what the engines doin and feelin the shifting...donno if that helps any. But, I also like what one of the other guys posted, look it up and see what everyone else is sayin. Everyone has a opinion. And also agree when people don't own something and try tellin you how to run it. Good luck man!

Your truck will shift, even at WOT way before your RPMs reach a high level. So you dont have to worry about it on an automatic. Like other guys said, 3400 is what they redline at, but its not gonna blow up if you let fly past there for a while on an acceleration.
