I've been through 4 different chips/ programmers and the mpg has all been just about the same. That being said my truck gets 12 mpg stock and 14 with a chip in the 80-100 hp range under normal city driving conditions. I'm currently running PHP tunes and have been very happy with them so far. The right foot controls your mpg so once the new wears off you may see an improvement.
