Default fuel tank questions
well i noticed i was leaking fuel today so i plan to change tank from my parts truck!!

my question is both trucks are 2001 f350 single 4x4 but one is shortbed and the other long bed

Are the fuel tanks the same??

Nope... Short bed has a 28 Gallon tank... Long bed has a 38 Gallon tank. They are not interchangeable.

ok i have found a tank from a ext cab short bed,it is a gas tank not a diesel??

I'd just buy a new tank they're not that expensive

get a huge a!@ in bed n call it a day the gas to diesel may have a diff mounting setup for the sender...
