Default Am I supposed to be able to see my flywheel?

Title says it all, bought this truck sight unseen, finally got under it and took a good hard look at it while I was changing the oil, and lo and behold, I can see the flywheel. It looks as if a cover is missing. 4 speed auto. Am I missing a cover or something? Is it hurting the transmission driving without it?

Ya, your missing an inspection cover... Its not detrimental to drive without it but i wouldnt do it forever. It will only make for a mess down the way with everything getting in there.

Do you think I could find the part online? Or should I just go to a dealer?

Call the dealer, get a part number and go from there...

I'd try and find one at a junkyard, dealer is likely gonna rape you for it.
