Ordered me some new gauges and just wondering what is the average reading and whats low and high. I got the Egt, boost, trans temp, and fuel pressure.

 

anywhere from 900-1200 on egt, a free exhaust will help this alot. I have my wastegate unhooked and can see 25-30 lbs of boost with my php chip-again the tune will help it make boost. Trans temp is susposta be about 70-80 degrees about outside temp,i have seen mine around 200 warmed up,i feel this is too high and must have a plugged trans cooler,a 6.0 one is kinda spendy for now though.

make sure your egt is in your exhaust manifold,and not in your turbo downpipe

next thing to check would be the cam position sensor.Ford had a recall on this so call and see if its been done. I have a spare id sell cheap if you cant find one reasonable. 7.3 eats cps sensors for some reason
