Hey guys im new to the forum and got a question about my 00 7.3, it has a banks big head turbo kit, (smaller housing and stouter wastegate), i am running a custom six pos chip tuned by ppe (pacific performance engineering) and a afe cold air and 5in exaust. when i get on it for more than about five seconds the service engine soon light comes on then drive down the rd a ways and it shuts off, if i pull off the rd and attempt to check the code it doesnt show up and i start the truck again and it is gone. I am thinking its an over boost code and it shuts down fuel. Ats makes that boost fooler that should fix it but no sense in wasting 70$ to see if it works, what do you guys think??? It will do it on setting 3-6 which 6 being 180 hp setting the higher my chip the faster the code shows up and the moment the code shows up you can feel the truck run differently.

 

You'll want to get the boost fooler but if you shop around, you can get them cheaper than that... check out dieselsite.com
